How To Repair Bad Credit For Businesses

Files under Finances | Leave a Comment

The first step towards business bad credit repair is to obtain the credit report. A person has to approach credit bureau with written matter to get a free credit report. You may also use online services to get the credit report, as the Internet provides instant access to various credit reporting agencies. In addition, there are certain other tools available on the Internet that help submit disputes directly to the credit bureaus.

An individual needs to obtain credit report standings from at least three websites, because not all reports contain the same information. Get a hard copy of the report and mark all the incorrect information on the credit report. Contact the creditors by phone first, before starting to write dispute letters. A list of creditors and their phone numbers can be found on the last sheet of credit report.

Some creditors do not talk to people, as they send the account information to the collection agency. Therefore, the person has to speak to the collection agency. While considering collection agencies, remember to get everything in writing. Do not send them any money unless the settlement is in writing.

The Eurostar now departs from King’s Cross St Pancras and arrives at Paris Gare du Nord in the centre of the city. For most incoming international flights, Charles De Gaulle (located 25km to the north of the city) is the main airport in Paris. Essential Items to Bring Along For Your Dog While on Your Hiking Trips

Files under Pets | Leave a Comment

If you’re an outdoors kind of person, and a dog owner, you may have considered bringing your dog along with you on a hike this summer. Humans have been hiking and trailing the various landscapes of the Earth with dogs as companions and guides for thousands and thousands of years. This symbiotic relationship between man and canine can be observed in a very popular children’s movie that came out a few years ago known as Ice Age. In the movie, the early humans carried supplies with them to keep their dogs well-fed and occupied on the long journeys.

The first of the dog supplies that you need to have in your hiking inventory are the essentials to preserving the life of your dog. You need to pack plenty of food and water for him or her, and make sure that you pack enough in case of an emergency (such as getting lost in the woods and not being able to find your way back to civilization for several days or weeks). I wouldn’t buy the dog food that comes in bags that you find at the grocery store. Instead, I would get the canned dog food that almost looks like liquid beef when you pour it out of the can. This will save you a lot of time and energy, as you won’t need to lug around several bags of dog food. It’s also a lot less expensive to get a couple boxes of Alpo instead of seven or eight bags of Kibbles & Bits.

Next, you need to make sure your dog has a powerful leash that you can easily get your hand around and hold onto tightly. I’ve heard countless stories of people hiking in the woods with their dogs (without a leash mind you), and the dog will see a rabbit or a squirrel and run off to chase it. A lot of people have lost their dogs this way, so make sure you get a sturdy leash from a store that specializes in pet-related merchandise such as PetSmart. While you’re there, don’t forget to grab a chew toy or two for your dog in case he or she gets bored while on the hike. I would also recommend picking up some treats.

Natural Treatments For Canine Body Discharges

Files under Pets | Leave a Comment

Sometimes when a dog is suffering from a disease or illness he can also have a discharge from eyes, ears nose or anus. Often the sick dog is miserable and suffers all the more due to accumulation of a discharge that they can not reach to clean and that can build up and serve as a source of further irritation to underlying tissues.

You can provide great relief to your pet by following these simple cleaning techniques:

Nose: Carefully remove any discharge using a damp piece of gauze or cloth. This can take time and patience in order to soften any matter that may have dried on to the nose. This can be a stressful situation for any dog as the nose is a very sensitive area, so it is better to work in several short sessions instead of trying to do it all at once. After the nose has been cleaned and patted dry, apply almond oil to the area. The almond oil may be used alone or mixed with vitamin E oil. Repeat this process several times a day.

How to Prevent Dog Biting

Files under Pets | Leave a Comment

If your dog is less than 16 weeks old and nips and bites non-stop, this is normal behavior – young dogs mouth a lot. Puppies mouth while playing and they mouth when communicating their wants. If your dog begins mouthing, he may be hungry or thirsty. Ask yourself: Does he need to remove waste? Is he tired? Does he want to play? Dogs nip when they feel a sense of neediness – like when a baby cries. If your dog does not stop, he may want to go outside, exercise, or drink water. The following tips can assist you when trying to control your dog’s mouthing and nipping:

1. If your dog does not want anything and he still will not stop, isolate him with a favorite bone. Do not punish your dog as you isolate her. Calmly place the puppy in her area.

2. When your puppy licks you, say “Kisses” and praise him. Encourage licking by slathering your hands with a stick of butter.

My Armageddon – Part I

Prologue

My latest adventure, or should I say mis-adventure, involved rib patrol boats and gunboats mixed in a heady concoction of deceit, death, corruption and desolation. It’s a story that’s still going around and around in my head, and hopefully by setting out my thoughts it will help me come to terms with what must be my experience of a lifetime.

It all started out, as I guess many of these things do, by a phone call with the offer of some offshore oil support work operating some 35-40 miles offshore in the Gulf of Guinea. A planned one month stint during our winter months, in the warmth of Africa away from the cold and damp of blighty, and some good remuneration to boot!

Little was I to know that I was to become witness to the reality of life in the third world, between the haves and the have nots in what was in truth a division between life and death. As my story unfolds you will hear about a culture of deceit and corruption at the highest levels in government and military, why each and every white European carries a bounty of $2m on his head and the reasons why a militant organisation claims justification for piracy and murder.

My Armageddon – Part II

I hope you managed to catch part I. But don’t worry if you missed it, the rest of the story is the most stirring!

Day 10. Thursday 20th March

At 4:45am, a strange time, the Lagos marines were finally discharged from their ‘guard’ duties and allowed to fly back to their home base. They were replaced by two Pathfinder marines who stood at arms all the time.

The day started as they all normally do in this navy base. The patrol boats, all re-fuelled the evening before were made ready for patrol and loaded up with their 12.7 mm machine guns fore and aft, their AK47’s and the ammunition for the day’s patrols. The navy’s Pathfinder group is responsible for the security of the Bonny River and its creeks in their fight against piracy, abduction and sabotage.

It was very frightening each day when machine gun fire broke the jungle silence as test rounds zipped overhead and into the forests around the base, but I learned to watch for the powder dust cloud of the fired ammunition and knew the sound would follow. The patrol (gunboats) then disappeared up river and creeks and arrived back at base late afternoon. Some six ribs formed the squadron, five serviceable with one under repair.
