Before the movie there was the book. And the book is the root of all evil…erhm…awesomeness that was then transformed into a movie. Many people skip over the book and watch the movie, which isn’t getting an Oscar nom any time soon, but it was a decent movie that reached its audience and made lots and lots of money. Twilight’s true power lies in the books themselves. The saga transports girls and taps into all of their primal desires: to be loved and loved in return.

Twilight allows the book to be commercialized. Actors give characters a face that allows studios to create merchandise like Twilight party favors, and posters. Movies also reach a greater audience than books do. For some reason, many people don’t like to read. They associate reading with schoolwork and boredom. The problem is that they’re reading the wrong books. Twilight originated as a book so there was no way other than fan art to create merchandise to sell and make a greater profit. Being the capitalist society that we live in, there was no other place for Twilight to go but the movies.

The first three books especially transport the reader to a different world. With a simple language, anyone with a middle school reading level can enjoy the books. There is consistent action (minus Bella’s whiny period in New Moon) and danger that makes your heart race and get you addicted.

Flower girls and ring bearers create the ultimate “awe” factor. Nothing is cuter than watching two elementary school aged and younger children walking down the aisle hand in hand. They seem so happy to help out the grown ups and really want to be involved. Sometimes, everyone watching them overwhelms and they cry while walking down the aisle or have absolutely no desire to go down the aisle to begin with. Here are five tips to pump the kids up and make sure they walk down the aisle smiling.

Kids love being involved. Especially between the ages of 3 and 7 they want adults to give them tasks. Inquisitive children learn how by watching and doing, so “Can I help” often gets asked. And by often, every two seconds. Being a part of the wedding party is an excellent opportunity for them to be put to work.

An easy way to get the kids involved, especially the boys who might not be so eager to help with all the girly stuff going around, is to have them help with the wedding party favors. Have them give input on what is their favorite and which they would prefer. Before the wedding, have them help put together the favors. Whether they put the bow on the wrapping paper or assemble the favor, they’ll have a sense of accomplishment. You’ll spend quality time with your favorite kids and give them something to look forward to on the day. On the wedding day, make sure to tell them to look for the wedding party favors on the tables and reinforce how awesome they look.

Every bridesmaid’s nightmare is the ugly bridal party dress. It’s almost as if the bride purposefully wants to place her favorite girls in ugly dresses. Thankfully, brides have started making their bridesmaid dresses slightly more modern and prettier. The case still remains of how best to help the bridesmaid save money on the dress and feel good in her body to want to reuse the dress and get the best deal. Here are some easy ways to make the dresses reusable and still make the bride stand out in a crowd.

A new popular trend is for everyone to wear the same color and but a different style allowing each bridesmaid to wear the dress that better fits her body. For example, if a girl with a larger bust wants to wear a better bra and not fuss with a strapless gown, then her dress could have a broader strap and more fitted neckline. If you’re bridesmaid look and feel happy in their dresses then they will be more likely to reuse the dress, almost like their own party favor, and get the most out of their money.

Another way to keep the dresses reusable is to make them short cocktail dresses. Short dresses aren’t appropriate for every wedding; however, it’s become more acceptable to wear cocktail dresses. If they keep it short and simple, then bridesmaids can reuse the dresses for other occasions, whether it’s for work functions, a formal night out, or another wedding.

We love Edward. He’s everything we expect our men to be. Too bad they haven’t gotten the hint yet! Yet, we have an actor who portrays our favorite boy in the movies. In our minds has Edward become Rpattz and Rpattz become Edward? Will we continue to support Rob after the movie franchise finishes and he relinquishes his role as Edward, or will we allow him to fade into the woodworks of other actors who became famous by playing a certain role?

For example, perhaps one of the sexiest actors playing a male tormented vampires to grace the silver screen is David Boreanez (Angel from the late 90s TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.) That man was born to play Angel just like Rpattz was born to play Edward. David now stars in a successful series, Bones, with new and old fans. Does Rob have enough acting talent to actually get that next gig and make money for these studios?

His face is everywhere, that’s for sure, and you would have to live under a rock not to at least recognize who he is. From Twilight party favors to posters to billboards, he’s everywhere. He’s selling without even realizing he’s selling things. His Twilight movies alone have beaten records at the Box Office. Girls chase him down the street and he even almost got run over once. But the question again is are girls screaming for “Rob” or “Edward.”
