I was sitting in an airport the other day and my flight got delayed. Not surprising, given the state of the American airline – not American Airlines, in particular, though certainly they are not any better or worse than the rest of them. As an aside, in fact, a friend of mine – talking about potential mergers of airlines and auto manufacturers – said, “One big pile of steamin’ poo mixed with another big pile of steamin’ poo – what do you think will come of it?”
But, anyway, as I said, I was sitting in an American airport, and I’d had my share of fried food and airport cocktails, and I was back in the front seats at the gate, hoping that I could flash my platinum card and slide onto the plane with the first-classers, the wheelchair grannies, and the moms with their strollers and nose-picking toddlers (please, let me get on before the nose-picking toddlers!).
There was a guy sitting next to me, with a laptop that I don’t even believe has been invented yet, so cool and slick was it. His mobile phone was like the phone that Darth Vader would have carried if George Lucas in the 1970s had ever envisioned cell phones that appear futuristic. I believe his luggage was actually powered with Stealth technology.

In the direction of human physiological benefits potential, with the goal of real progress, the much revealed stem cell debate focusing on moral arguments is really off targeted. The practical considerations eventually trump this emotionally clouded subject. No matter what side of this issue you approach it with caution. In human physiology, stem cells are a important asset and thus deserve our intense interest, but unfortunately we miss the mark of discovering just how we can use what we already know about stem cells because of obsessive disagreement about research and cloning issues and to improve the health of everyone how we can benefit commencing that knowledge.
In 1997 the public debate above cloning human beings (cloning controversy) began. Ian Wilmut the professor, who led the team that created world well-known cloned Dolly the sheep, never suggested cloning a human being. Even though he had yet to go against the idea; nearly everybody went up against the idea. Nonetheless, the social blowup heated from these fresh scientific achievement proceeds to reach fallout. The sight of advancing and development evokes doubt, worry and fright. Genetic scientific discipline appears to be lighting fires before flaming in our ancient feeling. When profane science goes through our DNA it is entering area of our sacred being and we fright. We fright Because of Promethean error. We fright because that our own up human hubris will break inspiring sacred in our environment; and so we fright that environment will respond with tragedy. By Promethean error by science, to protect our lives, we are convincing to cease more research with the instruction: “thou salt not have fun God!”
In 1999, we started the cloning controversy legend first primary pages in episode two. “The stem cell debate” will refer as the episode. It has only begun (the debate). It is not completely clear that, what desires to be debated, or maybe not everything, maybe anything. It is so clear that the fear though the cloning bang yet lighting up fires present and another point. But stem cells will put to the fuel by the society to force to create those fires glow more warming and continues to be seen whether to be or not.

One of the finest watches ever produced in recent years is the Vacheron Constantin’s Kallania. It’s the world’s thinnest watch and the best jewelry watch ever made at 1.64millimeters in width. Set in 18 karat white gold, the Kallania recently won the award as the Best Jewelry Watch Award in the Vogue Jewels Awards Show in Madrid, Spain. The diamond bezels in the Kallania match the diamond bracelet making the watch seamless as if it was just one flawless piece. The Kallania is the heir of the Kallista, which until recently was the most famous jewelry watch that Vacheron Constantin ever produced 30 years ago. The Kallania has 186 emerald cut diamonds with the total number of carats as 170. Each diamond undertook a long and thorough selection process from among a huge number of stones extracted from several million tons of diamantiferous ore. The exceptional level of purity, colour, cut, finishing and homogeneity is a rare achievement indeed. Its level of purity, cut, color, homogeneity and finishing is almost flawless and because of this, each diamond was certified by the independent laboratory of the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF.) The price tag for this watch is close if not 8 million dollars.
Diamond bezels are increasingly popular for women’s watches but they have also been gaining popularity in men’s watches as well. The most popular of all watches to get a diamond bezel upgrade is of course Rolex. The cost of an upgrade may vary but starts at around 3000 dollars. For women’s watches, the cost to place a diamond bezel on a lady oyster is slightly less than that of a man’s watch. Although, women’s watches can upgrade their diamond bezels to customize it by placing different diamond colors for the bezel. Depending on the uniqueness of the color and the carat of the diamond, the price for such can easily reach the high 4 figures to the 5 figures.
For our tenth wedding anniversary, I decided to upgrade my wife’s rolex lady oyster with a not too expensive diamond bezel face. It was easy to get my wife to part with her rolex as I told her we needed to service the watch and I would do the same with my watch as well. I had chosen the design months ago and decided on the carat weight per individual diamond. It would take a week or so before it could be done. I told my wife that I was going to have her watch cleaned and shined so it would like it was brand new. No problem. When the watch was ready, it was two days before our anniversary and my wife had asked if the watch was ready yet. I told her that I would get it before our anniversary dinner, which we had planned to have by ourselves. We decided to spend the night in a hotel and have dinner and breakfast in the morning as well. Well, you get the picture. As we started our dinner, I handed my wife a red box, a watch box. She smiled and opened it. Her eyes went wide and she asked me if I had gotten her a new watch. I smiled and told her that was her watch, upgraded of sorts. She smiled and kissed me on the lips with tenderness and passion. We skipped the dinner and well, you get the picture.

Because paper is everywhere. Because paper is the single largest business on the globe. Because we are confronted by paper everyday in hundreds of ways; we just don’t recognize it. (I am about to change that for you.) Because paper is a source of cash flows and profits. Because paper can be a predictable and determinable income stream for us.
To know paper is to know the single biggest source of wealth on the planet. There is an unlimited supply of paper with more being created daily around the world. Paper backed by real estate (and properly purchased) can be a very secure investment. The investment yields generated by paper are easy to calculate. Paper is very low management when the payments are on time. There are lots of creative things that can be done with paper – not only when it is created; but also while it is being held and when it is sold. That’s the good news.
The bad news is paper can be a real fire drill if you have not done your homework and/or if the payor should default (ask Wall Street and the globe’s bankers who do not understand paper fully.) Unless you do your homework thoroughly, paper is complicated enough to bite you badly. You must be absolutely certain you are getting 100% of what you paid for. Unlike real estate ownership there are no tax benefits from owning paper. Another downside of paper is when the last payment of the note is received, the income stream stops forever. Like any other investment, the investor needs to be extremely careful, have complete paper work and understand the security or the collateral. Remember, if it seems too good to be true; it’s not.

The television series Home Improvement revolved around a so-called DIY expert who routinely bungled projects, often with hilarious results. In reality, however, mistakes while repairing your home are not funny. 16% of would-be home repairs end up further damaging property, and 20% of people in England admit to having injured themselves or someone else while attempting home repairs. In that small country, nearly 200, 000 people a year end up in the hospital because of bungled home repair jobs.
The major reason for these serious mishaps is people attempting home repairs they are not qualified to do. Many people, especially men, attempt repairs themselves rather than calling in a professional out of a sense of pride. Some men appear to base their self-image upon their perceived ability to repair items in their home, and up to 2/3 of English men surveyed admit to allowing a partner to pressure them into attempting repairs they are not comfortable with. Similarly, some women attempt home repairs in order to prove that they are just as capable as men of performing these repairs.
Unfortunately, these people are the ones most likely to bungle home repair jobs. The consequences can be serious for both their health and their budget. In addition to risking injuries or property damage, amateurs attempting home repair can invalidate their homeowner’s insurance policies. This means that the damage caused by improper home repair jobs will not be covered by insurance policies, and in some cases the insurance company may choose to cancel the policy altogether.

Every day professional women come across literally hundreds of articles in magazines, on the net and in blogs telling us how we should dress. Does it really matter? Well, yes and no. What we wear as professional women does make a statement and an impression, of that there is no doubt. No woman should be a slave to ‘corporate fashion’ though.
Most people would agree that the most important thing in selecting your professional clothing is to not detract from people seeing you, the professional who has ideas and value. Does this mean we should all go around wearing the gray, navy or black classic suit? Of course not! That is ‘safe’ clothing. If you want to be safe go ahead.
The safety of classic gray, navy and black do work though in clearly portraying the image that you are dressed for work, not play, and they don’t distract. Professional women simply don’t turn up at the office in short, short skirts and super low cut blouses with jewelery dangling all over them, reeking of cheap perfume and chewing gum. Most women don’t need to be told that. Most women don’t need to be told that showing up in gym gear is inappropriate for a corporate seminar either. We are not stupid.

What exactly do we mean when we talk about gay spirituality? Since many of us grew up in religious organizations that told us we were abominations and unworthy sinners there are plenty of people within the GLBT community that aren’t interested in religion. Others want some validation from the church and thus look for meaning in religion. If you take your spiritual journey, you’ll find that the process can definitely be satisfying.
In many cases, whether we were ready or not, our spiritual quests started in our youth. Not all of us completely grasped why condemnation of the gay population bothered us so much. Some of us understood all too well.
This led to a natural progression of questions that were taken away from the church and into other possibilities. Some people created groups and offered emotional and spiritual support along with the fight for social justice.
