A person who has experienced some measure of success in life may balk at the idea of self confidence hypnosis. If one is quite comfortable with his own abilities, then why rock the boat, so to speak. This belief may exactly be the reason for that person to take a second look at himself.
As actively promoted by its proponents, self confidence hypnosis may be helpful to those who have fears in these common scenarios: public speaking, socializing with people or going to job interviews. Immediately, a person who may be intrigued by hypnosis but don’t believe that he has self confidence issues may be convinced that he has no use for it. The fact is, self confidence hypnosis is not just limited to overcoming anxiety in speaking to large crowds.
Self confidence, as distinguished from self-esteem, is the belief in one’s ability or capacity to do something. To put it in another way, even if one has confidence in one thing, it does not necessarily follow that he has confidence in all things. A person who has no qualms in selling his new idea in the boardroom or in persuading his case to a hostile jury may doubt himself when it comes to haggling for the best price in buying a car or in any other situation that he is not usually accustomed to be in. After all, Nobody is perfect in every single area in his life; although it might not be crippling the person outright, he may do better if he opens to the possibilities of what self confidence hypnosis can do to him.

To put simply, self hypnosis can be likened to taking a trip down the road to your subconscious. Just as you would prepare for any vacation or road trip-by checking the weather, the car and your necessities—it also helps if you take the time to look into what to expect and what to do before embarking on this journey.
A typical how-to on self hypnosis may instruct you to go into a quiet room and ensure that there wouldn’t be any interruption or noise for a certain period of time. You are then told to close your eyes, focus on your breathing and work in order to allow your body to relax, and your mind to clear up. In this part of the self hypnosis journey, you are expected to let the body know that it’s not going to do any activity. The brain is so intertwined with your body that if your body is doing something else, the brain will rush in to control it. Note that the idea of self hypnosis is to focus on going into your subconscious mind. You won’t be able to get there when your brain is busy taking care of other business.
Also, conditioning your mind in a positive way would help your body follow suit. If you are so stressed out and keep on thinking about that—your body will not be going to the opposite way: it will continue to be rigid, and the purpose of going into self hypnosis would be defeated.

Scientific studies have proven that the human mind consists of two regions: The conscious and the unconscious. The conscious mind plays the “active part” which directs our actions, reasons out and accountable for the majority of our activities throughout the waking hours. The unconscious (also called subconscious) which “sits at the back,” is the passive, unquestioning part which controls our involuntary functions and in-charge of the more subtle creative faculties of the mind.
Psychologists believe that any person can create lasting improvements in oneself by accessing the power of the unconscious. However, this is not as simple as it sounds. Most individuals have no indication how to even get in touch with the unconscious, how much more for effecting improvements? This is where subliminal messaging becomes exceedingly helpful and necessary.
The term “subliminal” is derived from the Latin words “sub” (below) and “limen” (threshold), which basically means “below the threshold of consciousness.” It refers to anything that exists just beneath your conscious awareness (i.e. at the unconscious level).

Standing 5’ 6” the doctor tells me I’m obese at 190 pounds. It could have been no big deal if my health is perfect, but it’s not. I’m hypertensive and was advised to take that small pill every single day, to manage my hypertension, for life.
“You must be kidding doc,” I said. “I do martial arts and I’ll show you that it will be back to normal in a few weeks’ time.” The doctor’s reply caused my blood pressure to rise and my ego to crumble; “Sir, martial arts has no fight in this arena. Unless you lose weight, you’re on pills forever.”
That was 10 years ago, and I was taking the pill like the doctor said. I joined all weight loss programs that came my way, just to get rid of that pill which is straining my nerves and my pockets as well. Every time I do, my weight drops for a few weeks but invariably returns even if I’m consistent with my training. I cannot understand why, but my body seems to adapt after a while.

When you are overhwlmed, it’s sometimes hard to see a way out of it. Sometimes you need to take a step back and take care of yourself so that you can get on with things in the right frame of mind. Here are some tips that will help you to eliminate the stress you get from feeling overwhelmed.
Eliminate excessive obligations.
If you feel you have too much to do, chances are, you’ll end up exhausted and only do the absolute minimum necessary. Take a look at your weekly schedule right now. Are there obligations you’d prefer not to do? Maybe you can either delegate them to someone else, or eliminate them altogether. Getting rid of “shoulds” will give you a lot more time for “want to’s.”
Ask for help.
Just like the tip above, if you feel you’ve got too much on (and it’s making you feel overwhelmed), stop and ask for help with it! This may include getting family members to be more involved with household chores, or you might need to barter some chores with a neighbour. Do NOT feel that you need to do it all yourself, especially when you’re working toward a bigger goal. Cut a little slack for yourself, and accept that it takes a real strength to admit that you can’t do everything on your lonesome.

Testosterone elongates the vocal chords and deepens the voice during puberty. These changes are welcomed because they are give off signals that the transition from boy to man has taken place. As well as women being more attracted to men with a deeper voice, men also tend to feel more confident to approach women, and typically have more sexual partners. Though people may claim otherwise, objectively, it’s hard to deny that we all make assumptions about people based on their voice. High pitch is often associated with anxiety and nervousness, while a low pitch indicates self confidence and low levels of stress. That’s stereotyping, but it’s something that most of us do.
All of the evidence suggests that testosterone is the agent responsible for the deepening of male voices. A ‘normal’ man’s voice is typically an octave lower than a woman’s voice. That deep male pitch is beacon, a broadcast, stating unequivocally, there’s testosterone in the room, so pay attention! Fortunately, there are options available for deepening your voice. Thyroplasty is a surgery that some may recommend. It’s really only meant to be used to repair damaged vocal chords, but an increasing amount of men are undergoing this risky surgery to lower the pitch of their voice. Personally, I think that’s unwise. Mistakes can be made, and your voice can be really screwed up. An alternative is to have fat injected into your vocal chords. This is also risky though, and it’s only a temporary solution.
Try this technique instead – when you speak, slowly exhale instead of holding in your breath. Try this as an experiment; first speak while holding your breath, then immediately repeat the words while exhaling slowly. Notice a difference? You want to avoid speaking ‘through your nose’. Instead, bring the sound up from deep within your throat. Try speaking both ways right now, and you’ll notice a big difference. Don’t rush your words when you speak. Do a little test by saying the same phrase quickly, and then very slowly. You’ll see that fast speech raises the pitch, while slow speech lowers it. The good news is that you can train your vocal chords to sound how you want them to sound. You can do this at home on yourself, or you can work with a vocal coach. Using a vocal coach will bring you the quickest results, but if you can’t afford one just yet, then do this exercise for 10-15 minutes every day…

I have spent many years trying to discover the ONE thing – the one vital choice – that leads to healing and joy, or to suffering.
Over 35 years ago I discovered an essential piece of the puzzle: that we each have only one to two intents at any given moment – to protect against pain and responsibility for it, or to open to learning from our pain and take responsibility for it. In other words – to learn from pain or to run from pain with our various addictions.
I discovered the next vital piece almost 25 years ago, after working as a traditional psychotherapist for 17 years and not being happy with the results. I discovered that there is no true healing without a connection with a personal source of spiritual guidance. The mind cannot heal itself.
Many people in our world are spiritually off-course, having become convinced that they cannot access Spirit directly – that they have to do it through a priest or a minister to get to God. We cannot manage the pain of life – lose of loved ones, rejection, abuse, violations, loss of limb, illness – without a direct experience of Spirit, without the compassion, wisdom and strength that comes only from Spirit. When we do not know how to have this direction connection, then our only choice is to run from pain.

The best time to stop smoke is definitely right now. Many people put this decision for later but sometimes misfortune can bring them serious disease before. I would like to help you realizing that smoking is unwanted habit that can only cause you problems.
When you smoke you may already suffer from it. Brown teeth, cough that shows up on a regular basis and lowered energy levels. You probably say to yourself than you will stop smoking one day or you are trying at least few times in a year. People pretty often cheat themselves by saying that they are not able to quit. Here comes the big news – you can, as millions of people before you did.
I will tell you about a Mike who is a good friend of mine. One time when he was watching a movie with his wife it went out that is necessary to put out the cigarette to open new bag with salty sticks for his woman. In under 30 seconds of break his cigarette was not burning anymore. When he reached to take it he noticed that his lighter was lost or simply left at work. He was so surprised by combination of this accidents that for a second he thought that it may be sign. This though kept coming back to him and in just few hours he took the right decision. He said to his wife that he quit smoking and since that day he had never put cigarette in his mouth.

Smoking is very bad habit not only for a person who smokes but also to his family and friends. When you smoke and your children are around then your not only influencing your health, but also their. It is important to realize that even if we have freedom on poisoning ourselves we should not harm people that are around us. So if you are smoking at home then you can consider ones close to you as a passive smokers.
Smokers inhale two different types of smoke. First one comes from your cigarette or pipe and is the one that you inhale while the second is what is left out of it after leaving your lungs. Second type of smoke is also full of chemical substances and if anyone around breathing them then such a person is put under the same risks as the first-hand smoker. Many researches have been done on this subject and results are clear. Babies suffer the same health conditions that smoking person does. The variety of problems that secondhand smokers can have goes from discomfort in breathing to cancerogenic mutations in their cells. Pretty often secondhand smoking is cause of heart problems.
Nonsmokers can “take a pull” most commonly in three places and we gonna go over them now.

It’s not uncommon to have a social anxiety disorder. In fact, approximately one in every ten people suffers from it at one point or another. Some suffer from the disorder when they experience any kind of social situations, while some only suffer from it during certain social situations, such as presenting at an event, speaking in public, or when performing in front of an audience. The anxiety and fears that overcome suffers are very real and substantive, even though non-sufferers may dismiss them as being unreasonable. Overcoming social anxiety is crucial because if unchecked and untreated, it could lead to a more severe social anxiety disorder which can even greatly interfere with your daily life and it may lead to needing professional psychiatric help.
There is no easy solution, but there are definite means of overcoming social anxiety disorder. Those suffering from social anxiety disorder deal with this problem every day. If you’re having problems with feelings of anxiety and nerves when faced with social situations, don’t give up. Individuals suffering from social anxiety disorder, otherwise known as social phobia, will do anything possible to stay away from certain social situations that they fear. Some even go to the extremes of avoiding situations where there are other people involved like social events, work meetings and school classes. They don’t show up at the events for fear that they will do something that will humiliate or embarrass them. If they do show up, they will not get involved.
The cause of social anxiety disorder is not yet known. Children who are shy often suffer from the disorder as adults. A person’s upbringing can also be a factor that causes one to experience it – a person with overly critical or overly protective parents are more prone to suffer from social anxiety disorder. It could also be because of abnormal reactions in brain parts that control emotional reactions. Or it could be causes by a combination of the three possible causes. Whilst the causes of the disorder have not yet been established, good progress has been made with the methods of treating it. The most successful technique that’s used is one called cognitive behavioral therapy, which is carried out by specially trained therapists. The purpose of this therapy is to replace the negative thoughts that occur with positive ones.
